My God

My God rides above the four winds. He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide. He shakes the ground on which I stand with his breath and uproots the mountains, sending them crashing to the seas. My God breaks chains with his tears, and washes stains that have been blemishing people their entire lives with his blood. He fills emptiness with life and moves the most jaded man alive to tears with one tiny portion of his love. My God can rend the universe into pieces with his little finger, and can cause all life to cease in the blink of an eye. My God reanimates the very rocks and causes them to cry his praises aloud, for even the rocks cannot stand his presence without being moved to tears. My God can strip the most powerful man alive of everything he owns in one moment. My God is more beautiful than anything mankind could create in its entire existence. My God cannot be understood by the wisest of men thinking together for their lives. One could stare at the sun for a thousand years and it wouldn’t compare to one glimpse of my God.
That very same God loves me.
What can the world possibly throw at me that can take me down if I turn to my God?
